The Brick Lane Curry Festival vlog is out now. I had a walk down Brick Lane from the opening parade to the bagel shops at the far end, and stopped at as many curry stalls as I could.

This bit is the chef on the cooking stage. Curry always in a hurry, and in goes his gunpowder. Flames, then my turn to taste it. If you don't like spicy curries, you can't eat this one. I still licked the pot clean.
Also in the vlog: £6 curry and rice, a £5 lamb biryani from a place with 35 years in the business, the huge Brick Lane vintage market, a £400 Burberry bag, Brazilian feijoada and the queues for the original bagel shop.
