ETIAS UK: Don’t Pay Any Website, It Has Not Started

If you have searched for ETIAS UK this week, you have probably seen websites ready to take your money for it. ETIAS, the new travel permission for Europe, has not started, and nobody can sell you one at the moment.

If you are looking up ETIAS UK, the ETIAS start date, the ETIAS fee or ETIAS for UK citizens, this covers the verified answer: right now you travel to Europe on your passport with no ETIAS needed. When it starts, every traveller needs their own, children included, it costs 20 euros online (free under 18 and over 70) and lasts three years. EES, the fingerprint and photo check at the border, is something different, already running and free.
